According to the Newsweek magazine, the Clínica Universidad de Navarra is among 50 best hospitals worldwide, occupying the 49 th position in the World’s Best Hospitals 2020 ranking.
The Clínica Universidad de Navarra thus becomes the only Spanish private center on this prestigious list, which is presided by three North American benchmark medical centres: the Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic and Massachussets General Hospital.
The Newsweek magazine, the well-known American weekly newsmagazine with international circulation, has published the World’s Best Hospitals 2020 ranking for the second year, with the aim of identifying the top health institutions within 21 countries all over the world. The process of selection was based on Statista’s methodology and recommendations of a panel of medical experts including Professor David Bates (Harvard, USA), Dr. Gary Kaplan (Virginia Mason, USA), Dr. Eyal Zimlichman (Sheba Medical Center, Israel), Prof. Christoph A. Meier MD (University Hospital Basel, Switzerland), and others, who described the select hospitals as " benchmarks for top- notch patient care".
