Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Malaga, 1979.

MIR in Rheumatology at the Hospital "Carlos Haya" Malaga, 1982-1986.

Doctor of Medicine in 1990 by the University of Cordoba.

Regular invited speaker at national and international congresses/symposiums, in the area of systemic autoimmune diseases.

During 2017 she was invited as a speaker at 18 congresses/symposia.

As a researcher

She is the co-author of more than 50 chapters of books in her specialty.

In the last two years she has presented more than 15 papers in national and international congresses of her specialty.
