Pulmonary Function Laboratory
DEPARTMENT OF PNEUMOLOGY
The Department of Pneumology at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra, located in Pamplona, has had a Pulmonary Function Laboratory since the year 2000, specializing in the assessment of respiratory health.
In this laboratory, various respiratory function tests are performed to evaluate how the lungs and airways work. These tests make it possible to measure lung capacity, the amount of air a person can inhale and exhale, and the speed at which it is done. Such studies are essential for diagnosing, monitoring, and managing conditions such as asthma, COPD, and other respiratory diseases.
In 2025, our work was recognized with the accreditation by SEPAR (Spanish Society of Pneumology and Thoracic Surgery) as a Specialized Unit meeting Excellence Criteria. This distinction endorses the quality of our clinical and teaching work and motivates us to continue providing our patients with the best possible care in the field of pulmonary function.
