Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine of Cádiz (1998).
PhD in Medicine from the University of Navarra (2017).
Specialist in Pulmonology (MIR program) at Carlos Haya Regional Hospital (2004).
Specialist in the Department of Pulmonology at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra since 2004.
RESEARCH AREAS
- Principal investigator of the IN S-1007-301 (Aspen) study on bronchiectasis since March 2021.
- Collaborating researcher in various studies on COPD, cancer, and emphysema since 2007.
- Collaborating researcher in the open clinical trial for bronchiectasis with *Mycobacterium avium*, study INS-416 (ARIKAYCE). Principal investigator: Dr. Campo, Pamplona site.
- Recognition of 18 years of research activity (3 six-year periods) by the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity (CNEAI). First six-year research period (2005–2010), awarded June 6, 2023.
