RESEARCH AREAS

He is currently collaborating on 1 FIS project funded by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III:

  • Project PI23/00157: “Neutron dose assessment in a proton therapy facility: implications for pediatric patients and workers”.

PhD student in the Applied Medicine and Biomedicine program at the University of Navarra. Title: “CZT SPECT/CT in a 360° configuration: Impact on diagnostic imaging and personalized dosimetry in Lutetium-177 therapies”.

AREAS OF INTEREST

  • Characterization of medical imaging equipment.
  • Optimization of acquisition and reconstruction protocols in nuclear medicine.
  • Dosimetry in radionuclide therapy treatments.
  • Monte Carlo simulations in the field of Medical Physics.

Activity

In teaching

  • Instructor in the XXIV and XXV editions of the Theoretical–Practical PET Course organized by the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Clínica Universidad de Navarra.
  • Instructor in radiation protection training courses for first-year residents at Clínica Universidad de Navarra.

In research

  • He has delivered more than 7 lectures/presentations at national and international conferences.
  • He has participated as a co-author of 1 article published in a high-impact international journal in the field of medical physics.
