Dr. Pilar de Castro
Specialist in Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Primary focus on complex psychiatric disorders in children, adolescents, and young adults, with an emphasis on early detection of psychiatric disorders, diagnosis, and advanced psychopharmacology.

RESEARCH AREAS
- Her main lines of research are the study of clinical features and neuroimaging in attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and first episodes of affective and non-affective psychosis.
- She has participated in 7 clinical trials.

In teaching
- Assistant Professor with a PhD (Profesora Contratada Doctora), Faculty of Medicine, University of Navarra, since 2023.
- Professor in the IESE MBA program, Barcelona. University of Navarra, from 2009 to present.
- Advisor to students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Navarra; she has supervised more than 30 Final Degree Projects (TFG) and 1 Master’s Thesis (TFM).
In research
- She has contributed to the publication of more than 38 scientific articles in national and international journals.
- She is the author of 25 book chapters and has presented numerous communications (posters and oral presentations) at national and international congresses (USA, France), as well as delivered several lectures at congresses and meetings in Spain.
