Researcher with extensive experience in pulmonology, critical care, and respiratory endoscopy.

Researcher in endoscopic therapies for pulmonary emphysema and early detection of lung cancer, and coordinator of projects related to the intersection of lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and sleep apnea.

Coordinator of the CIBER Respiratory Diseases strategic lung cancer research plan for the 2016–2018 three-year period.
