radiologyOPEN MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING

The high-field, open magnetic resonance imaging (open MRI), in the form of a "C", installed at the Clínica provides greater convenience for patients and facilitates the work of the healthcare personnel.

The 160-cm aperture, compared with the 60 cm closed apertures, mainly benefits children and patients who suffer from claustrophobia, obesity and spinal deformities.

The device makes it possible to work with a high magnetic field in an open environment, offering high performance that enables the radiologist to apply the most advanced diagnostic imaging techniques.

With this procedure, surgery can be performed during the radiological examination.
