The Clinic has acquired a virtual simulator CT, which enables the performance of radiation therapy, locates the cancer in the CT images and defines the treatment at that time.

With this device, existing CT applications have been improved and new applications have been incorporated, including high-resolution spatial multidimensional images and a reduced contrast dosage.

The study time has also been reduced because the images are acquired faster, thereby reducing waiting times, which in turn reduces the need for immobilisation equipment and avoids discontinuities in the slices due to the patient’s breathing.
