Neurophysiology

"We carry out the diagnosis of people with diseases of the nervous system using the most advanced knowledge and techniques, collaborating with other Spanish and foreign health care centers".

DR. MANUEL ALEGRE
DIRECTOR. NEUROPHYSIOLOGY DEPARTMENT

The Clinic's Neurophysiology Service collaborates in the diagnosis of patients with diseases affecting the central and peripheral nervous system.

Our main neurophysiological techniques are: electroencephalography studies, electroneurography, electromyography, evoked potentials, sleep studies and video-EEG studies, as well as more specific techniques for more specialized records.

In addition, we help monitor patients in the operating room to reduce the risk of complications affecting the central or peripheral nervous system in a wide range of surgeries.

The Clinical Neurophysiology Service is part of the Sleep Unit, with a consultation specialized in sleep disorders, offering the most up-to-date diagnostic techniques and treatments.
