Professional career
Medical and Surgical degree (1988) and PhD in Medicine and Surgery (1994) from the Universidad de Navarra. Specialist in Medical-Surgical Dermatology and Venereology (1994).
Co-Director of the Department of Dermatology since 2017, where he has particularly promoted the oncologic and surgical area of the specialty.
RESEARCH AREAS
Member of the editorial board of several scientific journals.
He has collaborated on 12 national research projects as principal investigator.

His main areas of interest focus on the interdisciplinary study, diagnosis, and treatment of:
- Mohs surgery.
- Skin cancer.
- Vascular malformations.
- Vitiligo.
- Drug eruptions.
