Dr. Nerea Crespo
Psycho-pedagogue at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra.
Primary dedication to neuropsychological and developmental assessment, and psychoeducational guidance for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders and/or learning difficulties.
Professional career
Degree in Psychopedagogy (1999) and PhD in Psychopedagogy (2007) from the University of Navarra.
RESEARCH AREAS
Developmental and learning neuropsychology.
She has collaborated in research projects funded by the Government of Navarra, the Health Research Fund, and PIUNA; and in clinical trials conducted at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra.
AREAS OF INTEREST
- Study of the diagnosis and treatment of developmental and learning disorders: intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, developmental amnesia, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, specific language disorders, procedural learning disorder, and dyslexia.
Activity
In teaching
Adjunct Professor at the School of Psychology and Education of the University of Navarra from 2007 to the present in the degree programs in Pedagogy and Early Childhood and Primary Education Teaching; and in the Master’s in Educational and Psychological Intervention.
In 2015, she was accredited by ANECA as an Associate Professor (Profesor Contratado Doctor).
In research
- She has delivered more than fifty lectures and conference presentations. Author of more than twenty-five articles and seven book chapters on neurodevelopment and psycholinguistics.
- She has served as a reviewer for several scientific journals.
- She has contributed to the design and validation of four instruments with extensive application in the diagnostic process.
- She has supervised around ten master’s thesis research projects and co-supervised a doctoral dissertation.
