1. Who is responsible for processing your data?

Your personal data will be processed by the company “Clínica Universidad de Navarra” (hereinafter, CUN), NIF: R3168001J, with its registered office at Avda. PIO XII, NUM 36, CP: 28108, Pamplona (Navarra).

2. For what purpose do we process your personal data?

  • Contact and user management: The personal data of users who contact CUN through our social media profiles will be processed for the purpose of managing such contact, responding to requests, and providing the requested services, which may include, where applicable, providing consumer care services and/or handling complaints or incidents.
  • Analysis of CUN’s corporate reputation: CUN may analyze the posts and references made by different users, whether directly (e.g., by posting a comment on CUN’s corporate profile or sending a message to this profile) or indirectly (e.g., through posts which, although not addressed directly to CUN, refer to its products and services or its brand and, due to the user’s privacy settings, are visible to all users of the social network) in order to understand the brand’s reputation and improve our products and services.

3. What data are processed by CUN and from what sources are they obtained?

The personal data that CUN processes for the development of the aforementioned purposes may come from the following sources:

Data provided by the user through different actions such as:

  • Completing the forms made available by CUN.
  • Sending private messages, posting on CUN’s social profile or addressing posts directly or indirectly to CUN, provided that, in this latter case, they refer to its products and services or its brand and, due to the user’s privacy settings, are visible to all users of the social network.

Data provided by the social network:

  • As a result of the user browsing and using CUN’s profiles on social networks.
  • Any other information that the user authorizes the social networks to provide to CUN when using social network connectors to register or that, according to the user’s privacy settings, is visible to all users of the social network or to CUN in particular.

Third-party data provided by the user.

CUN may process personal data of the following types, depending on the relationship established with the user and the characteristics of the social network:

Identification data (e.g., first and last name, email address, postal address, telephone number, IP address, image, etc.).

  • Data relating to personal characteristics and social circumstances (e.g., age, date of birth, preferences, hobbies, and lifestyle, etc.).
  • Browsing and location data (e.g., use of CUN’s websites, sections visited, data that the user provides through social networks when indicating their location, etc.).
  • And any data published by the user on the social network that, according to their privacy settings, is visible to all users of the social network or to CUN in particular, or that arise from the interactions established by the user with CUN.

4. What is the legal basis for CUN’s processing of your data?

CUN processes the personal data identified above on the basis of the following legal grounds:

  • The processing of your data for the purpose of “Contact and user management” is based on the management and handling of the legal relationship established between the user and CUN, that is, on managing your request, maintaining contact between the parties and, where applicable, providing the service that the user has requested.
  • The processing of personal data for the purpose of “Analysis of CUN’s corporate reputation” is based on CUN’s legitimate interest in understanding the brand’s reputation and improving our products and services.
  • CUN informs you that it will only carry out the processing of personal data for purposes based on the user’s consent if the user has consented to such processing through the consent mechanisms made available by CUN.

5. To whom are your data disclosed?

With regard to the other purposes of data processing detailed in this Privacy Policy, CUN informs users that such processing purposes do not involve the disclosure of their data by CUN to third-party entities.

6. How long do we keep your data?

CUN will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide the requested service and/or to achieve the intended processing purpose.

Thereafter, provided that the user has not exercised their right to erasure, the data will be retained for the legally established periods applicable in each case, taking into account the type of data as well as the purpose of the processing.

7. What are your rights regarding your personal data?

CUN informs you that you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, restriction of processing, objection, erasure, and portability through any of the following channels:

CUN informs you that you may lodge a complaint with the competent Data Protection Supervisory Authority. However, as a first step, you may submit a complaint to the Data Protection Officer.

USE OF CUN’S SOCIAL MEDIA PROFILES

1. Facebook fan page
