MD degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2004). Specialist in Radiology at Hospital Universitario La Paz (2009)

External rotations at St. Thomas’ and Guy’s Hospitals (NHS), London, from March to May 2008, and at Clínica Ruber Internacional, Madrid (2009).

Attending Neuroradiologist at Quirónsalud at Hospital Universitario Infanta Elena and Hospital Universitario Rey Juan Carlos from 2009 to 2017

Head of the Functional Risk Unit of the Radiology Department at Hospital Universitario Infanta Elena, Valdemoro, from 2014 to 2017

From 2017 to the present, he has worked at Clínica Universidad de Navarra, Madrid Campus, as a Specialist in Diagnostic Neuroradiology.

He earned his PhD from the University of Navarra (UNAV) in 2023 with the distinction “Cum Laude”.

  • Reviewer for the Neuroradiology section of the journal Radiología.
  • Representative of the SENR Neuroradiology Section in SERAM’s Virtual Publishing Space.
  • He has participated in multiple clinical trials carried out at CUN as an Associate Investigator.
  • He has collaborated on several Health Research Fund (FIS) projects promoted by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III.

AREAS OF INTEREST

  • Diagnostic study using 3-Tesla MRI of endolymphatic hydrops of the inner ear in Ménière’s disease.
  • Advanced study of CNS tumors, as well as their planning using high-field MRI for proton therapy treatment.
  • MRI study of head and neck pathology.

Activity

In teaching

  • Head of teaching for medical students at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria from 2014 to 2017.
  • Head of teaching for third-year medical students at the University of Navarra, Madrid Campus, since 2023.
  • He has carried out teaching and research duties as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Navarra, part-time, since 2023 to the present.

  • He has authored multiple articles as first author in national and international scientific journals.
  • Various lectures and plenary sessions at national and international congresses of different neuroradiology societies.
  • Multiple contributions at national and international conferences.
