Professional career
She graduated in Medicine from the University of Cádiz in 1999. She specialized in Nuclear Medicine at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra. She received her PhD in Medicine from the University of Navarra in 2011.
Clinical Consultant in the Nuclear Medicine Department at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra, where she has carried out her clinical, teaching, and research activity for more than 20 years.
Between September 2025 and June 2026, she completed a research stay at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, in the area of Radiopharmaceutical Therapy, Radiobiology and Radioembolization —Bertolet Lab—.

In teaching
- Associate Professor at the School of Medicine of the University of Navarra.
- Tutor of Nuclear Medicine Residents since 2013.
- She collaborates in the training of specialists and in national and international teaching activities in the field of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging.
In research
- She has participated in national and international projects and has more than 130 scientific publications.
- Her main lines of research focus on the optimization of hepatic radioembolization with yttrium-90 microspheres, including the FIS PI18/00692 project on the optimization of hepatic radioembolization using a computational simulation model, and on the development of predictive models in prostate cancer using molecular imaging.
- She has been an invited speaker at more than 40 national and international courses and conferences. She has participated as an invited speaker at leading conferences such as the European Association of Nuclear Medicine congress, where she delivered a lecture in the Marie Curie plenary session on PSMA PET in prostate cancer, as well as a continuing education session on hepatic radioembolization. She was also an invited speaker at the European Congress of Radiology 2025, addressing the role of PSMA PET in the management of prostate cancer.
