Nursing Practice Model

It is a model that allows a practice environment that makes the participation of nurses in patient and family care more visible, places them in a position to transform the institution through excellent practice and personal leadership, and encourages them to work according to their capabilities and competencies, thus achieving better clinical outcomes.

Autonomy

Nursing professionals have the ability to exercise autonomous professional judgment and determine their own actions within the scope of nursing practice, according to their level of competence.

Decision making

Magnet Accreditation

The Clinic becomes the first “Magnet Hospital” in Spain thanks to the clinical leadership of its nurses.

This accreditation certifies the excellence of care, clinical innovation, and quality of the nursing professionals at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra in Pamplona. Of the 627 hospitals worldwide that have received this recognition, 98% are in the United States (606) and Saudi Arabia (9). In Europe, only the Clinic and two institutes of a Finnish hospital hold this accreditation.

This distinction, granted by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to healthcare institutions, recognizes the excellence of nursing practice in providing care to patients and their families.

It promotes professional satisfaction, enhances patient care and experience, supports nursing education and continuous development based on the latest evidence, and fosters an environment where nurses collaborate with other professionals committed to delivering high-quality care to patients and their families.
