Primarily dedicated to Geriatrics, with a strong research foundation focused on improving the understanding and management of neurodegenerative diseases in older adults.
Professional career
Degree in Medicine and Specialist in Geriatrics from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá.
PhD in Medicine from the University of Stavanger, Norway.
Master’s Degree in Movement Disorders from the University of Murcia, Spain.
Validation of the medical degree as Geriatrician at Hospital de la Ribera, Alzira.
RESEARCH AREAS
- Has been recognized as the best researcher in Geriatrics at several events across Latin America, as well as in 2024 at the Congress of the Spanish Society of Geriatrics held in Segovia.
- Additionally, in 2024 he received the award for Best Young Researcher in Norway, granted by the Norwegian regional health authority Helse Vest.

- Since 2019, has served as Visiting Professor at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
