Professional career
MD in Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Cádiz, and PhD in Psychiatry (2002). Psychiatry Specialist at Clínica Universidad de Navarra.
Clinical collaborator and Deputy Director of the Department of Psychiatry and Medical Psychology at Clínica Universidad de Navarra. Since 2009, he has worked in the Clinic’s Psychiatry Service at its Madrid campus.

- He has written more than 30 national and international scientific articles, as well as specialty book chapters and monographs, especially related to the biological basis of depression and clinical aspects of anxiety disorders.
- He has published the following books: “Anxiety, an Enemy Without a Face” (EUNSA, 2004); “Overcome Stress and Anxiety” (Everest, 2005); “Being Happy Without Being Perfect” (EUNSA, 2010); “Wounds in the Heart” (RIALP, 2014) and “Like Father, Like Son” (Rialp, 2017).
