Professional career

Graduate in Medicine from the Central University of Venezuela (Caracas), 2008.

Specialist in Allergology and Clinical Immunology (Clínica Universidad de Navarra) and PhD in Medicine, Cum Laude distinction, from the University of Navarra (2015).

She completed training stays in the Pediatrics Unit at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, USA) and in the Allergology Department of Complesso Integrato Columbus (Rome, Italy). In 2017, she completed a postdoctoral training stay in the Cutaneous Immunoallergy Unit at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (Barcelona, Spain).

Expert Certificate in Medical Ethics from the Foundation for the Spanish Medical Association, 2018.

She devotes most of her clinical work to the diagnosis and treatment of atopic dermatitis and contact dermatitis, as an attending physician in the Department of Allergology at Clínica Universidad de Navarra.

  • Co-author of the book "Today We Eat Eggs. A Guide to Surviving Frequent Consumption of Cooked Egg in Patients with Egg Allergy", as well as more than 10 chapters in other books.
  • Editor and co-author of the book "Topics in Clinical Ethics for Medical Students". Digital Reasons Publishing.
  • Co-director of two doctoral theses: "Diagnostic Methods in Kiwi Allergy" and “Use of the Nexkin DSPT® device for the reading, measurement, and digitization of intradermal tests for the study of immediate hypersensitivity reactions”, within the Biomedical Research and Applied Medicine program of the University of Navarra.
