Professional career

BS in Physics from the University of Oviedo (2010).

Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Public University of Navarra (2012).

Board-certified specialist in Hospital Medical Physics (2017).

Currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Navarra on dosimetry in hepatic radioembolization treatment.

Since 2018, Radiation Protection Lead in Madrid.

Training fellowship in proton therapy at the Abramson Cancer Center, Philadelphia (2017).

RESEARCH AREAS

Contribution to PET accreditation for clinical trials.

She has participated in 1 FIS project funded by the Carlos III Health Institute.

  • Quality control of Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Imaging equipment.
  • Optimization of image quality in Nuclear Medicine and PET.
  • Intraoperative Radiation Therapy.

Activity

In teaching

Guest lecturer in the PET theoretical-practical courses organized by the Nuclear Medicine Department at Clínica Universidad de Navarra, and in Radioactive Facilities Operator courses organized by the Medical Physics and Radiation Protection Department.

In research

She has presented more than 18 communications at national and international conferences.

She has contributed to 7 research articles published in indexed journals.
