Primary focus on the study and application of noninvasive magnetic resonance imaging techniques, with particular interest in Arterial Spin Labeling (ASL) to characterize myocardial perfusion and other organs in the abdominal cavity.

Professional career
Degree in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Imaging (2016) from the University of Costa Rica and Master’s degree in Biomedical Research with a specialization in Cancer (2018) from the University of Navarra.
Currently pursuing a doctoral thesis in the Applied Medicine and Biomedicine PhD Program at the University of Navarra.
Research member of the Biomedical Imaging Laboratory, Department of Radiology, Clínica Universidad de Navarra.

- His work focuses on research into sequences for the acquisition, processing, and analysis of multiparametric cardiac MRI images without the use of contrast agents, enabling the diagnosis of coronary artery disease and other heart conditions.
