Professional career

Degree in Philosophy and Educational Sciences (Psychology track) from the University of Deusto (1995).

Master's Degree in Psycho-Oncology and Palliative Care from the Complutense University of Madrid (2002) and, more recently, a Master's Degree in Bioethics from UNIR (2024).

She is accredited as a General Health Psychologist, as a Palliative Care Specialist Psychologist by the Community of Madrid, and as an Expert Psychologist in Psycho-Oncology and Palliative Care by the National Commission for Professional Accreditation.

  • Psychological intervention across the different stages of the cancer process: diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and palliative care.
  • Group psychotherapy for women with breast cancer.
  • Psychological aspects of central nervous system tumours.
  • Couples psychotherapy in the context of cancer.

  • Teaching activities for professionals in psychology and medicine throughout her career.
  • Speaker for companies and social/healthcare organisations collaborating with the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).
  • Coordination of prevention and health education activities at the "El Paular" Juvenile Justice Centre (2003-2006).
