Researcher. Biomedical Engineer.
Primary focus on the study and application of noninvasive, non-contrast MRI techniques, with a particular interest in Arterial Spin Labeling (ASL) to characterize renal blood flow.

Professional career

Diploma in Technical Telecommunications Engineering (2013) and Master’s in Biomedical Engineering (2015) from the Public University of Navarra.

PhD from the University of Navarra (2022) (Cum Laude). “International Doctorate” distinction.

She completed research stays at the “Sir Peter Mansfield Imaging Centre” at the University of Nottingham (2019, 2021). Erasmus at Fachhochschule Technikum Wien (2014).

As part of her training, she completed the IDEA Sequence Programming course (Siemens Healthineers) for the development of MRI sequences in Siemens’ programming environment.

Member of the Biomedical Imaging Laboratory within the Department of Radiology at Clínica Universidad de Navarra. Her work focuses on the development of MRI sequences for the acquisition, processing, and analysis of multiparametric renal imaging.

RESEARCH AREAS

Her work focuses on the development of her doctoral thesis, in addition to collaborating on research projects related to renal MRI and being part of the PARENCHIMA (COST) group: Magnetic resonance imaging biomarkers for chronic kidney disease.

In research

She has participated in several presentations at national and international conferences, including the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) and the 3rd International Symposium on Functional Renal Imaging.
