Professional career

Degree in Medicine (2008) and PhD in Medicine (2017), University of Navarra. 

Specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (2014) at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra.

Fellowship in Traumatology, Center for Musculoskeletal Surgery, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Germany (October - November 2012).

Observership in the “Sports Medicine” unit under the supervision of Dr. Murnaghan at SickKids Hospital in Toronto, Canada (February 2014).

RESEARCH AREAS

He has participated in the following research project:

Bone cement and chemotherapeutic agents in the treatment of bone metastases: research project “Intravertebral retention of antineoplastic agents using acrylic cement with cisplatin or methotrexate. Experimental study in pigs”.

In teaching

Teaching collaborator for the subject “Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology” in the Operating Theatre Nursing Specialty programme, academic years 2011-2012 and 2012-2013.

Collaboration in practical teaching for the Medicine degree within the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra, academic years 2012-2014.

Teaching collaborator for the subject “Hand Surgery” in the Medicine degree at the University of Navarra, academic year 2013-2014.

Teaching collaborator for medical student placements at the Catholic University of Valencia at Hospital Quirón since January 2015.
