Degree in Medicine, University of Málaga (2002); completed specialty training in Nephrology at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra.
PhD, Faculty of Medicine, University of Navarra (2016).
MIR Tutor for the Nephrology specialty at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra (2009-19).

- Development and evaluation of a multiparametric MRI imaging technique to predict early kidney graft dysfunction after transplantation (RM-RENAL). Co-principal investigator.
- Creation of a platform for the development of gene therapy vectors with renal tropism (GENE DRONES). Collaborating investigator.
- Monitoring of CMV-specific cellular immune response to individualise prevention and treatment of CMV infection in solid organ transplant recipients using QuantiFERON-CMV. Collaborating investigator.
