RESEARCH AREAS

  • Collaborating investigator in numerous publicly and privately funded projects, including 8 nationally funded public projects.

AREAS OF INTEREST

  • Radiologic assessment (primarily by MRI) in central nervous system disorders (such as tumors and neurodegenerative disease) and inner ear disorders (especially endolymphatic hydrops).
  • Advanced MRI techniques such as DSC and ASL perfusion.

  • Assistant Professor with a PhD at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Navarra.
  • Director of the clinical rotation in Diagnostic Radiology at CUN for third-year medical students at the University of Navarra.
  • Clinical tutor for students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Navarra, supervising 8 Final Degree Projects (TFG).
  • Radiology residency tutor.
  • Instructor in the advanced vocational training program “Higher Technician in Diagnostic Imaging and Nuclear Medicine” in the module “MRI imaging techniques”, taught by the Escuela Sanitaria Técnico Profesional de Navarra (ESTNA).

  • Author of 44 articles, 33 of which were published in indexed journals with a JCR impact factor, and 6 book chapters.
  • Author of 154 scientific communications, 84 presented at international congresses and 70 at national congresses, receiving 9 awards.
