RESEARCH AREAS
- Accreditation of professional competence in the care of critically ill patients (CECC), Spanish Society of Intensive and Coronary Unit Nursing (SEEIUC), 2001. Recertified in 2004, 2008, 2010, 2013, and 2016.
- Member of the Continuing Education and Certification Working Group of the Spanish Society of Intensive and Coronary Unit Nursing (SEEIUC), from June 2007 to June 2019.
- Board Member of the Spanish Society of Intensive and Coronary Unit Nursing (SEEIUC) from June 2012 to June 2013.
- Former member of the editorial board of the journal *Enfermería Intensiva*.

- Disease-related malnutrition.
- Hospital and home artificial nutrition.

Activity
In teaching
- Currently collaborating as a lecturer in the Master’s Degree in Specialized Nursing Care in Medical-Surgical Nursing at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra since 2023.
- Associate professor at the Faculty of Nursing, University of Navarra, from 1998 to 2022, teaching in the Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and the subject of Nephrology in the Master’s Degree in Specialized Nursing Care in Intensive Care.
- Instructor in several continuing education courses for nurses in the Intensive Care Unit and the Hemodialysis Unit.
In research
- Has participated in numerous national and international conferences in the fields of intensive care nursing, nursing research, nephrology, and nutrition, presenting several communications and moderating various round tables.
- Has published three articles in national journals and two in international journals.
