Professional career
Medical Degree (2009) and PhD (2017) from the University of Navarra.
Specialist in Anesthesia and Resuscitation at Clínica Universidad de Navarra (2014).
Clinical Research Fellow at:
• Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (London, 2016). UK reference center for orthopedic pathology and one of the two spinal injury units in the London area. Fellowship focused mainly on musculoskeletal disorders.
• National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, University College London Hospitals (London, 2016). The NHNN pain unit is the UK reference center for abdominopelvic pain. Fellowship focused mainly on this pathology and neuropathic pain.
• Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospital (London, 2017). The largest neuromodulation device implantation center in Europe. Fellowship focused on neurostimulator implantation.
• Consultant in Pain Medicine at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital from September 2017 until joining Clínica Universidad de Navarra.

- Associate professor at the School of Medicine, University of Navarra.
- Examiner for the European Society of Anaesthesiology and former organizer of the written examination of this society in London.
- Has served as fellow tutor for the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthesiologists.

Has delivered presentations at international congresses, written book chapters, and presented studies at national and international congresses.
