Specialist in Pediatrics.
Head of the Pediatric and Neonatal ICU.
Primary focus on the study and treatment of critically ill pediatric and neonatal patients, including any type of medical or surgical condition, as well as performing specific procedures for these patients.

Professional career

Medical Degree (MD) from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 1994.

PhD in Medicine from Universidad San Pablo CEU in 2017. 

Specialist in Pediatrics and its specific areas in 1998, with MIR residency training at Hospital Universitario Niño Jesús in Madrid (UAM).

Master’s degree in emergency medicine and acute pathology in pediatrics. University-specific degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 1998.

Specialized training in pediatric and neonatal intensive care, providing hospital care in highly complex pediatric and neonatal intensive care units (including a Level III-C hospital) from 1998 to the present.

Accredited training in Evidence-Based Medicine.

Accredited training in PFCCS ( Pediatric Fundamental Critical Care Support).

  • Simulation instructor with the pediatric simulation group of SECIP ( SIMUSECIP) and the International Pediatric Simulation Group (GISP) (2023).
  • EPALS ( European Pediatric Advance Life Support) instructor of the European Resucitation Council (2023).
