- In vivo imaging of the biodistribution of radiolabeled orally administered nanovaccines for infectious diseases (INNAVACORID) (PI21/01003) Funding body: Health Research Fund (FIS) Duration: 2021-2023.
- Early treatment strategies for osteomyelitis in the prevention of fracture nonunion (GN2022/06). Funding body: Government of Navarra. Duration: 2022-2024.
AREAS OF INTEREST
- Antibiotic and antifungal susceptibility testing. Phenotypic and genotypic diagnosis of microbial resistance.
- Improvement and implementation of direct microorganism diagnostic techniques in the clinical setting.
- Molecular biology and detection of emerging pathogens.
- Improving the diagnosis of infectious diseases through the use of microbiological techniques and PET imaging in collaboration with Nuclear Medicine/Radiopharmacy.
Activity
In teaching
- Teaching collaborator in the Department of Microbiology and Parasitology (Faculty of Medicine, University of Navarra) from 2014 to 2018.
- Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Parasitology (Faculty of Medicine, University of Navarra) since 2018.
- Tutor for resident training in Microbiology and Parasitology (via MIR/FIR/BIR) since 2020.
