MD in Medicine and Surgery from the Complutense University of Madrid (1992) and PhD in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Navarra (2005).
Board-certified specialist in Radiation Oncology at Clínica Universidad de Navarra (1998).
Consultant Physician, Department of Radiation Oncology, Clínica Universidad de Navarra.
Coordinator of the Thoracic Tumors Area in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Clínica Universidad de Navarra.

Researcher in 5 scientific projects with public or private funding.
Member of the international multicenter STRIPE study in lung cancer.
AREAS OF INTEREST
Special external beam radiotherapy techniques, such as intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), radiosurgery, extracranial stereotactic radiotherapy, and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT).
Integration of these techniques into multidisciplinary treatment protocols for patients with cancer.
Translational research. Collaboration with the Center for Applied Medical Research (CIMA) of the University of Navarra.
