AREAS OF INTEREST

  • Study and treatment of acute kidney injury in critically ill patients, after cardiac surgery and sepsis.
  • Study of the use of clinical ultrasound in critically ill patients for decision-making and improvement of outcomes.

  • In September 2024 he was accredited as “Profesor Contratado Doctor” by ANECA.
  • In January 2022 he was accredited as “profesor lector” by the Agency for the Quality of the University System of Catalonia (AQU).

  • He has published more than 55 scientific articles in national and international journals.
  • Principal investigator in multiple national and international multicenter observational cohort studies. 
  • He has given numerous oral and written presentations at national and international conferences.
