MD degree (2010) from Universidad Panamericana, Mexico (extraordinary award), Master’s degree in Biomedical Research (2011), and PhD in Medicine from the University of Navarra (cum laude, extraordinary award) in 2016.
Specialist in Ophthalmology at Clínica Universidad de Navarra (2016), Clinical Fellow in Medical Retina (2016-2017) and Vitreoretinal Surgery (2017-2018) at the Royal Eye Infirmary, Plymouth University Hospitals, United Kingdom. Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (Paris, 2016)
