Professional career
MD (1994) and PhD (2002) in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Navarra. General Practitioner according to the Council of the European Union. He completed a fellowship at the Royal Haslar Hospital in Portsmouth-Gosport (England), under the Trauma and Plastic Surgery program (April–December 1996). He has completed more than 80 training courses related to the specialty.
Consultant, Department of Ophthalmology, Clínica Universidad de Navarra.
Activity
In teaching
- Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Navarra.
- He has also been an instructor in the Surgery Area of the School of Nursing.
In research
- He has published 25 articles in national specialized scientific journals. Author of the book Glaucoma and Refractive Surgery and co-author of Pocket Ophthalmology.
- In addition, he has presented more than 65 papers at national and international congresses and courses.
- He has completed 80 specialization courses and seminars.
