Professional career
Medical Degree (2000) and PhD in Medicine and Surgery (2010) from the University of Navarra. Specialist in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology at Clínica Universidad de Navarra (2006).
Fellow of the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (FEBOT, 2007).
He completed a six-month stay at University College London Hospital in upper limb surgery (2007), and in 2012 he completed a one-year fellowship in shoulder surgery at Centre Orthopédique Santy in Lyon. He has also completed short stays in Bern, Barcelona, and Toulouse.
RESEARCH AREAS
- He has conducted clinical studies related to joint prostheses in the shoulder.
- His current research focuses on the treatment of tendon injuries and joint stiffness.

Activity
In teaching
- He currently participates in teaching at the School of Medicine in the subjects of Human Anatomy, Instrumental Techniques in Anatomy, Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, Basic Simulation Techniques, and Advanced Simulation Techniques.
- Accredited as an Assistant Professor by ANECA (2011).
