Professional career

Medical Degree from the National University of the Northeast, Argentina, in 2005; specialist in Internal Medicine in Argentina (2009); and specialist in Medical Oncology in Spain (2015).

PhD in Medicine from the University of Navarra (2020).

Trained at Clínica Universidad de Navarra, where he completed his residency and subsequently worked as a consultant in the area of skin tumors.

He has developed his professional activity at leading centers such as MD Anderson Spain (2016), GenesisCare Spain (2017-2023), and Grupo Quirónsalud Madrid (2023-2026), holding clinical care and coordination positions.

Training stays at leading national and international centers. Rotation at the Center for Applied Medical Research (CIMA), Pamplona (2015), with a special interest in translational research and precision oncology. Rotation at the Melanoma Unit of The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, Liverpool, United Kingdom (2013), focused on the multidisciplinary management of melanoma and skin tumors.

RESEARCH AREAS

  • Researcher with extensive experience in liquid biopsy, next-generation sequencing (NGS), biomarkers, and translational oncology.
  • He has participated in research projects in genomics and lung cancer, as well as in multiple clinical studies and precision medicine programs.

AREAS OF INTEREST

  • Skin tumors (melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer), genitourinary tumors, gastrointestinal tumors, and precision oncology, with a special focus on biomarkers, genomic sequencing, and personalized medicine applied to cancer treatment.

Activity

In teaching

  • University teaching experience between 2010 and 2016 at the University of Navarra, participating in the training of medical students and medical residents.
  • Associate Professor at the European University of Madrid between 2017 and 2026.
  • Director of the Continuing Education Program in Medical Oncology (2020-2022), aimed at medical and radiation oncology specialists in Spain and Latin America, endorsed by the European University.

In research

  • Author and coauthor of international scientific publications in indexed journals, and presenter of oral communications and posters at national and international conferences, including ESMO and European symposia.
