Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Complutense University of Madrid (1985). Specialist in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid (1991). PhD in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the Complutense University of Madrid. Master’s Degree in Surgery and Biomechanics of the Musculoskeletal System, Master’s Degree in Biomechanics and Foot Surgery, Specialist in Functional Anatomy and Knee Pathology from the Complutense University of Madrid. Master’s Degree in Traumatology and Sports Medicine. Master’s Degree in Senior Management of Healthcare Institutions (IESE).

Currently works as a Clinical Collaborator at Clínica Universidad de Navarra in Madrid.

Head of the Medical Services of Club Atlético de Madrid from July 1995 to the present.
