MD and PhD (2003) in Medicine, University of Navarra. Specialist in Psychiatry, Clínica Universidad de Navarra. He completed his training with a visiting professorship at the Center for the Study of Late-Life Depression, University of Pittsburgh. Master’s in Psychogeriatrics, Autonomous University of Barcelona.
Consultant in the Department of Psychiatry and Clinical Psychology at Clínica Universidad de Navarra, Head of the Inpatient Psychiatry Unit.
Co-director of the Department of Psychiatry and Clinical Psychology since 2026.
RESEARCH AREAS
- Founded the Group for the Study and Research of Depression in Older Adults, which has been active for seven years and focuses on preventing depressive disorders in this age group.
