RESEARCH AREAS
Has collaborated on various research projects related to gene therapy, high myopia, and age-related macular degeneration.
AREAS OF INTEREST
Performs molecular biology and immunology techniques, cell culture, category B procedures in different rat and mouse models, and assists in the coordination of clinical trials following Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.

In teaching
Teaching Assistant for the course Basic Research Techniques.
In research
Has contributed to the publication of 13 articles in international journals in the therapeutic areas of immunology, gene therapy, age-related macular degeneration, high myopia, and oxidative stress, as well as to more than 20 papers presented at national and international conferences.

Awards
- Has received two Gangoiti Foundation grants in 2015 and 2016.

- Member of the RETICS RD 16/0008 network, titled “Prevention, detection, treatment, and rehabilitation of ocular diseases.” Belongs to the Retinal Diseases Group in Ophthalmology at IDISNA.
