Specialist in Radiology at Clínica Universidad de Navarra (2018-2022).

Attending Radiologist at Hospital Universitario de Navarra, with a focus on musculoskeletal radiology (2022-2024).

RESEARCH AREAS

  • Collaborator on the project: “Ultrasound evaluation of axillary lymph node response to COVID-19 vaccines”.
  • PhD candidate with the thesis project: “Assessment of the extent of pulmonary parenchymal involvement on CT using AI and its prognostic value in patients with COVID-19”.

AREAS OF INTEREST

  • Imaging diagnosis of musculoskeletal disorders using plain radiography, ultrasound, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging.
  • Image-guided diagnostic procedures (sample collection, biopsies, fine-needle aspirations).
  • Image-guided percutaneous treatments (medication injections, lavage of calcific tendinopathy).

Activity

In teaching

  • Associate Clinical Professor at the School of Medicine of the University of Navarra since 2024.
  • Teaching Coordinator for the course “Plain Radiography for Residents” (2023-2024) and teaching collaborator for the same course (2022-2024).
  • Teaching collaborator for clinical placements for medical students since 2018.

In research

  • He has contributed to 10 scientific articles, serving as first author on two of them and as second author on three others.
  • He has published 4 case reports as first author and has been part of 8 additional publications of the same type.
  • He has presented more than 70 communications or posters at national and international conferences, 15 of them as first author.
  • He has contributed a chapter to a scientific book.
