Specialist Technician in Basic Analysis and Processes. Chemistry Branch.

Intern in the Laboratory of the Agro-Food Quality Section at the Government of Navarra.

RESEARCH AREAS

I have collaborated on several funded research projects during my time in the Hepatology and Gene Therapy area (Morphology Laboratory) at CIMA and now in the Ophthalmology Department at Clínica Universidad de Navarra.

Category C accreditation from the Public Health Institute of the Government of Navarra to work with animals for experimentation.

AREAS OF INTEREST

  • Cell culture of various cell lines and primary cultures, media preparation, freezing and thawing, creation of stable cell lines.
  • Extraction and quantification of protein/RNA/DNA from tissues and cell cultures, gel electrophoresis, immunoblots, conventional and real-time PCR.
  • Experiments with animals.
  • Participation in the processing of clinical trial samples.

Activity

In teaching

  • Practical assistant in the Basic Research Techniques course.

In research

  • Author of three publications and has participated in two others, as well as in several works presented at national and international conferences.
