Doctoral dissertation at the University of Navarra on preoperative frailty in older patients (in progress).

Activity
In teaching
- Session on Basic Life Support (BLS) at Colegio Mayor Moncloa (Complutense University of Madrid).
- Coordinator, Medical Club at Colegio Mayor Montalbán (Complutense University of Madrid), 2014–2016.
- He has delivered several clinical sessions.
- Interview in the feature: Behind the Technology - Ep. 2: Mikey Kay meets Dr Miguel, an ICU doctor in Spain (General Electric).
- He has taught several courses as a lead instructor for the European Resuscitation Council.
In research
He has presented 5 oral and written communications at national and international conferences in his specialty.

He has developed several protocols and guidelines:
