Degree in Medicine and Surgery, University of Cádiz, 1995. 

Certificate of completed PhD coursework and Certificate of Research Proficiency, University of Cádiz, Department of Pharmacology and Neurosciences (1997-1999).

Specialist in Family and Community Medicine. Residency: Hospital Universitario Puerta del Mar (1998-2001).

Specialist in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care. Residency: Hospital Virgen de la Salud, Toledo Hospital Complex (2002-2006).

Head of the Pain Unit at Getafe University Hospital from 5 January 2015 until 2020.
