Experience in Proton Therapy, Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT), Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), and Intraoperative Electron Radiotherapy (IORT).

  • Multimodal diagnostic workup and oncologic treatment of head and neck tumors, lung cancer and sarcomas (musculoskeletal system tumors).
  • Incorporation of technological innovation into healthcare, mainly in the field of Radiation Oncology, by identifying new use cases for clinical implementation (3D printing, augmented or mixed reality, predictive algorithms with Artificial Intelligence (AI), chatbots for patient communication and support, etc.).
  • Implementation and development of Quality and Safety programs in care processes through risk analysis and continuous improvement systems through activity logging.

In teaching

  • Collaborating Professor at the University of Navarra, Department of Oncology (2021–present).
  • Associate Professor at the Complutense University of Madrid (2011–2019). Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology, Faculty of Medicine, Complutense University of Madrid since 2011, serving as the person responsible for and coordinator of the General Radiology course since 2018.
  • Supervisor of numerous PhD theses and research projects for the Research Proficiency Diploma (DEA), and supervisor of various Bachelor’s (TFG) and Master’s (TFM) theses, within the Health Sciences field.
  • Collaborating Professor at the Carlos III Polytechnic University of Madrid.
  • Director of numerous postgraduate courses on Scientific Research Methodology aimed at specialist physicians.

  • Author and co-author of more than 50 scientific publications in the form of articles in specialty journals, as well as book chapters related to the specialty.
