Professional career

Graduated in Medicine from the University of Navarra in 2017.

Specialist in Cardiology at Hospital Universitario Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda in 2023.

Master’s Degree in Diagnostic Imaging in Cardiology, Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (2021–2023).

Master’s Degree in Continuing Education in Artificial Intelligence in Health, Universidad Europea de Madrid (2025–2026).

RESEARCH AREAS

  • Development of machine learning and artificial intelligence models applied to the study of cardiac arrhythmias and cardiovascular risk.
  • Participation in research projects and randomized trials in the field of acute heart failure, infective endocarditis, and ischemic heart disease.
  • Core Lab echocardiographic analysis and image processing in research projects and randomized clinical trials for drug development.

AREAS OF INTEREST

  • Cardiac imaging. Advanced echocardiography, coronary artery CT, and CT planning for structural interventional cardiology procedures.
  • Valvular heart disease.
  • Cardiovascular risk. Member of the Vascular Medicine Area.
  • Application of new technologies in the healthcare setting.

  • Author of 8 scientific publications and several book chapters related to his specialty.
  • Collaboration with other national research centers in computational analysis.
  • Student in the PhD Program in Applied Medicine and Biomedicine of the Schools of Medicine and Sciences at the University of Navarra.
