Since 2009, she has worked as an attending physician in the Pediatric Rheumatology Unit at Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre. She has also worked as a rheumatologist at Clínica Ruber.
She completed a research stay at Hospital for Special Surgery, Cornell University Medical College, in the Pediatric Rheumatology area (2009).
