Dr. Enrique Aubá
Specialist in Psychiatry.
Primary focus on psychosomatic pathology and psychiatric consultation-liaison, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and addictive disorders.
Professional career
Earned his Degree (1999) and PhD (2006) in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Navarra.
Specialist in Psychiatry at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra.
Completed a Research Fellowship in the Department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School (Boston, MA, USA), with special involvement at the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind-Body Medicine.
He was a psychiatry residency tutor from 2008 to 2012, co-director of the Department of Psychiatry from 2012 to 2023, and deputy medical director of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra from 2013 to 2020.
RESEARCH AREAS
- His doctoral thesis was in the field of psycho-oncology, titled “A Study of Family Dynamics in Early Adaptation to Breast Cancer.”
- He has participated as a collaborating researcher in clinical trials of new molecules in psychiatry.
- He collaborates with the research line on epigenetic markers in depression.
