Professional career

Medical degree and Specialist in Internal Medicine from the Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma. PhD in Medicine from the University of Navarra.

Specialist physician in the Hepatology Unit of the Department of Internal Medicine of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra and researcher at the Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red in the thematic area of Liver and Digestive Diseases (CIBERehd).

She completed a research stay on liver cancer in the Department of Liver Diseases at Mount Sinai (New York, USA).

RESEARCH AREAS

Investigator in 8 clinical trials in hepatocellular carcinoma, liver cirrhosis, hepatitis C, and acute porphyrias.

She has collaborated in 7 publicly funded research projects awarded through competitive calls on liver diseases and acute intermittent porphyria.
