Graduated in Medicine (1998) from the Autonomous University of Madrid, and obtained a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Neurosciences (2007) from the University of Barcelona.
Specialist in Pediatrics (2005) at Vall d’Hebron Hospital, Barcelona.
Recipient of the competitive Río Ortega Contract from the Spanish Ministry of Health (2006–2009).
Clinical Research Fellow at the Epilepsy Research Centre, Melbourne, Australia (2008–2010), and at the Institute of Child Health, London (2011–2012).
Clinical Fellow (2012–2015) at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, Dubowitz Neuromuscular Centre, and member of the neurovascular team at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, United Kingdom.
