Medical Degree (2003) and PhD (2011) from the University of Navarra.
Specialist in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology at Clínica Universidad de Navarra (2009).
Has completed training fellowships through the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT) in Lyon, France, in knee surgery (2011); a fellowship in Bern, Switzerland, in cruciate ligament surgery and knee arthroplasty (2013); and a fellowship in knee osteotomies (2017) through the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA).
Director of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology at the Clinica Universidad de Navarra since 2026.
RESEARCH AREAS
- Collaborates in research trials on topics such as prosthetic joint infection, biological factors in clinical practice, and knee ligament surgery.

- Knee surgery (ligament, meniscal, reconstructive, and arthroplasty).
- Sports medicine.
Activity
In teaching
- Adjunct professor in the course on Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology at the School of Medicine, University of Navarra, and participates as faculty in courses such as Sports Medicine, Clinical Practice, and simulation workshops, among others.
- Student tutor for medical students since 2009.
In research
- Has delivered more than 200 presentations and communications at national and international congresses, authored 30 articles in national and international journals, and contributed to chapters in several books.
